Katie Larson
(Summer Camp AM Art Instructor/Kids)
Katie Larson is a dedicated art educator who loves inspiring creativity in students of all ages. She has a BFA and an MA in teaching from The College of New Jersey. With a background in painting and mixed media she encourages exploration and experimentation in the artistic process. She works hard to build both confidence and skills in her students. When not in the classroom, you can find her with her two boys and husband hiking or playing in the backyard.
Rachel Day
(Summer Camp Ceramics Instructor/Kids)
Rachel Day received her Bachelor of Arts at Sarah Lawrence College and went on to earn a Masters of Education at Mercy College. Rachel has taught special education in New York and New Jersey for the last 22 years. As a teenager and young adult Rachel explored fiber arts painting drawing and ceramics. She loves incorporating art into her classroom to foster self expression and communication. For the last two years Rachel has thrown herself into pottery and is excited to explore new forms and techniques as she continues to grow as an educator and artist.
Summer Camps will be offered only at the Pennington Location:
Half Day Art Camp: $350, 9:30am -12:30pm
Half Day Pottery Camp Pottery*: $350, 1-4pm
Full day Camp*: $499, 9:30am-4pm
For these camps smocks and all other supplies will be provided, but campers should come prepared for some messy fun! All campers should bring snacks and water with them. Full day campers should bring lunch as well. The afternoon sessions will be pottery wheel and hand building camp. Morning sessions will be themed working on various mediums

Campers should bring water bottle and snacks with them every day. Make sure they dress appropriately to have a messy ART week!
AM Art Camp Schedule:
- 9:30-9:45am: Campers will sketch and socialize while we wait for everyone to arrive and take attendance
- 9:45-12:15pm: Campers will work on their projects
- 12:15-12:30: Clean up
- 12:30-1pm: Lunch for Full day campers
PM Pottery Camp Schedule*:
- 1-1:15 pm: Campers will arrive
- 1:15-: 1:30: Instructor will go over lesson plan for the day
- 1:30-3:30: Work on the wheel or on a clay project of the day
- 3:30-4pm: Clean up
We will spend our mornings engaged in fun and creative projects. They will be get to create artwork in different mediums such as glass, mosaics, mixed media arts, ceramics and 3-D projects. Each week we will work on different projects.
In the afternoon we will be working with clay. Our campers will be taught the basic of pottery wheel throwing and hand building. They will learn how to add handles and other ornamental designs to their pieces. Depending on the experience of the camper they will make functional pieces like bowls, mugs, pitchers and plates.
