9 wks of half day & full day ART camp for ages 6 & up
Half Day Art Camp: , 9:30am -12:30pm
Half Day Pottery Camp Pottery*: , 1-4pm
Full day Camp*: 9:30-4pm
For these camps, smocks and all other supplies will be provided, but campers should come prepared to get a little bit messy! All campers should bring snacks and water with them. Full day campers should bring lunch as well. The afternoon sessions will be pottery wheel and hand building camp. Morning sessions will be themed projects made using various mediums.
All camps will be messy, we will provide smocks and all other supplies but campers should come prepared for messy fun.
* Please note that for pottery camp the pieces will be ready for pick up 2-3wks later.
AM Art Camp Schedule:
- 9:30-9:45am: Campers will sketch and socialize while we wait for everyone to arrive and take attendance
- 9:45-12:15pm: Campers will work on their projects
- 12:15-12:30: Clean up
- 12:30-1pm: Lunch for Full day campers
PM Pottery Camp Schedule*:
- 1-1:15 pm: Campers will arrive
- 1:15-: 1:30: Instructor will go over lesson plan for the day
- 1:30-3:30: Work on the wheel or on a clay project of the day
- 3:30-4pm: Clean up
We will spend our mornings engaged in fun and creative projects. They will be get to create artwork in different mediums such as glass, mosaics, mixed media arts, ceramics, and 3-D projects. Each week we will work on different projects.
In the afternoon we will be working with clay. Our campers will be taught the basic of pottery wheel throwing and hand building. They will learn how to add handles and other ornamental designs to their pieces. Depending on the experience of the camper they will make functional pieces like bowls, mugs, pitchers and plates.

AM Theme: The Great Outdoors
During the week, campers will create art inspired by the great outdoors and all that lives outside. They will create, sculpt and paint their favorite parts of nature, while also using what they find outside to create something new. Some of the possible projects: mixed media acrylic painting, mosaic flower pots, plant imprints in clay, mixed media sculpture using materials gathered from the outdoors
