For these camps smocks and all other supplies will be provided, but campers should come prepared for some messy fun! All campers should bring snacks with them. Full day campers should bring lunch as well.

Each camp will conclude with an Art Show on Friday. Families and their friends are invited to come and enjoy the children’s creations (details provided during the week of camp)
Week 1. Statue Camp: ages 7 and up, Dates 7/10-7/14
Campers will dive into the 3D world of sculptures with this camp. During the week they will use techniques to build up and carve away as well as think outside the box to create a found object statute. We will talk about different sculptors and their statues from around the world and through history.
~ possible projects: clay building, plaster carving, leaf cast, found object statue, statue challenge
Week 2. Clay Camp: ages 7 and up, Dates 7/17-7/21
This camp will touch on the different clay building techniques while the campers create one of a kind art pieces. They will mold clay with their hands and various tools as well as turn clay on a wheel. We will also be exploring different glazing finishes for their pieces.
~Possible projects: Slab construction/ wedging/ slip and score, pinch pot/ coil construction, wheel turning, bisque glazing techniques
Week 3. 2D/3D Camp: ages 7 and up, dates 7/24-7/28
Campers will discover the magic of creating 3 dimensional art using a vast variety of materials. Through guidance they will develop their 2D drawings into 3D art pieces.
~Possible projects: Tin foil/paper mache/ plaster, clay building, 2D/3D painting
Week 4. Fashion Camp: ages 7 and up, dates 7/31-8/4
During the week campers will be exploring the creative artistic side of fashion. We will try different fabric dyeing techniques where the children will turn the fabric into fashionable assecories The campers will be creating various types of jewelry while using different mediums. They will also design their own Fashion Label or Brand.
~ Possible Projects: Various types of jewelry, Scarf, Hand Bag, Fashion Logo, Jewelry holder
Week 5. Fine Art Camp: ages 7 and up, dates 8/7-8/11
This camp will focus on developing a deeper understanding of perspective drawing, light and shadow study and composition layouts. This is a good Camp for portfolio development.
~Possible projects: line perspective drawing, catch and draw it(moving subject study), self portrait using an interesting reflective object, light and shadow still life, sketching challenges
